Collagen is the key protein in the human dermis and performs a crucial role in its structural make-up. As collagen starts to significantly break down, it contributes directly to the skin ageing process and, as result of the collagen degrading like this, there is a sharp reduction in its water solubility. Cosmetic applications require highly soluble collagen and our collagen is classed as soluble due to the fact that it is obtained from calf skins, which are rich in protein with a low molecular weight. Collagen of this type can be considered to be of a very high quality and is therefore able to guarantee a highly effective cosmetic product. Dosage: 5 – 10%
